On March 6, representatives from JD Technology and Jingshu Technology visited SEM for a discussion on university–industry cooperation. The visiting delegation included Hu Xiaowei, Solutions Director of JD Technology; Xu Sheng, Chairman of Jingshu Technology; and Gao Jingyao, Assistant to the General Manager of Jingshu Technology.
The meeting was attended by Jiang Hongyan, Associate Dean of SEM; Mu Yupeng, Head of the Department of Business Administration; Yue Ting, Party Branch Secretary of the department; Lv Xueqing, Deputy Head of the department; and Liu Ran, Director of the Teaching Administration Office. The meeting was chaired by Associate Dean Jiang Hongyan.
At the beginning of the meeting, Jiang Hongyan welcomed the guests and introduced SEM’s development history, talent cultivation system, program construction, and existing experience in university–industry cooperation.
Hu Xiaowei then presented an overview of the business structure of JD.com and elaborated on the company’s business ecosystem and AI application practices in its technology sector, sharing several successful cases of collaboration with universities.
Following this, Mu Yupeng introduced the training programs for the Marketing (Digital and Intelligent Marketing) major, the Human Resource Management major, and the Artificial Intelligence–Marketing dual-degree program, and proposed preliminary ideas for cooperation with JD Technology and Jingshu Technology.
During the discussion session, both sides explored potential collaboration in joint course development, internship base construction, and specific cooperation models. Leveraging the industrial resources of JD Technology and Jingshu Technology, the partners aim to build internship platforms that will strengthen students’ practical skills and professional competencies.
In concluding remarks, Jiang Hongyan expressed appreciation for the participation of JD Technology and Jingshu Technology and expressed hope that both sides would further translate consensus into concrete cooperation. She suggested establishing mechanisms for regular consultations, project follow-up, and shared outcomes to ensure that the partnership continues to generate tangible value.
The cooperation is expected to develop into a replicable model of university–industry collaboration, providing valuable experience for the transformation of economics and management education in the era of artificial intelligence and the digital economy, while helping SEM cultivate innovative professionals equipped for the future economy.
