Visit to Twenty-Two Cities (Jiangsu) Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd.
To deepen the effectiveness of practice-based education under the leadership of Party building and integrate professional knowledge with the rural industrial revitalization strategy, on November 19, more than twenty faculty members and over ninety students from the Department of Business Administration carried out a themed labor education Party Day activity on Party Building–Led Rural Revitalization. They visited the agricultural and sideline product deep-processing base of Twenty-Two Cities (Jiangsu) Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. in Feng County and proceeded to a local orchard to conduct apple-picking activities to support local farmers, gaining firsthand experience of the innovative vitality of rural industries under Party leadership and the profound meaning of practices that assist farmers.
At the start of the activity, the person in charge of Twenty-Two Cities (Jiangsu) Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. introduced the company’s profile and then led the group to the product tasting area, where they experienced the quality and flavor of deep-processed products firsthand. Afterwards, the group visited the full-process production line, where the company representative gave a detailed explanation of how, under Party building leadership, local agricultural resources are integrated and advanced processing technologies are introduced to promote the transformation of ordinary agricultural and sideline products into high value-added products. This visit allowed the students to break through the limitations of classroom learning. Through tasting and on-site observation, they experienced the thriving vitality of rural industries under Party leadership and gained valuable experience for applying professional knowledge to support industrial upgrading in rural areas.
Subsequently, faculty and students went to a local orchard to participate in apple-picking activities to support farmers. Under the guidance of the orchard workers, the students quickly mastered picking techniques, worked collaboratively and energetically, and moved among the fruit trees picking and packing apples, effectively helping reduce the farmers’ harvest pressure. The activity not only enabled students to deeply appreciate the hardships of farming and the joy of harvest but also helped them better understand the profound meaning of “serving the people.”
This practical activity is a vivid extension of the School of Economics and Management’s “Party Building + Practice-Based Education” model. By walking into the frontline of rural industries and the fields, students fully immersed themselves in witnessing the effective practice of Party Building–Led industrial integration, achieved mutual empowerment between theoretical knowledge and labor practice, and deepened their understanding of the significance of the rural revitalization strategy. Participating students expressed that this practical activity gave their professional studies a more concrete connection to reality. They also stated that they will continue to strengthen their professional skills and fulfill their responsibilities as youth in contributing to the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas.
