To deepen the effectiveness of professional education under the guidance of Party building, and relying on the EPCAA (Evaluation and Promotion of Career Adapting Ability) cultivation system — based on “positive mindset guidance, innovative system support, specialized base construction, cloud technology implementation, internet platform sharing, and progressive ability enhancement” — the Department of Business Administration held a two-day professional cognition training program on October 18 and 19.
With the theme “Party Building Red Empowers Professional Blue,” the activity integrated theory immersion, skill refinement, and practice performance, building a bridge for students to transition from campus to the workplace.

On the morning of October 18, the training officially began. Li Qinfen, employment guidance expert of Jiangsu Province, senior human resources specialist, and national first-class vocational trainer, delivered a keynote lecture titled “Meeting Your Future Self — The Start of Career Planning.” He explained the connection between career development and social value, guiding students to draw their “career self-portraits” that not only trace personal growth paths but also anchor the ideal of “serving society and dedicating oneself.”

Students expressed their career aspirations through hand-drawn or digital self-portraits, integrating the Party’s spirit of “serving the people” into their works, vividly illustrating their youthful commitment to the Party.
Student Gao Xingyu shared: “My hometown is Ordos, rich in energy resources and unique culture. Through professional learning, I hope to contribute to my hometown’s industrial upgrading and talent development, making ‘serving my hometown’ the core of my career ideal.”
The students’ creations combined individuality with warmth, embodying the Party’s guiding principle of service.

In the afternoon, Liu Jingyuan, national first-class HR manager and action learning facilitator, delivered a session on “The Art of Communication in Management.”
Focusing on the EPCAA module “Analyzing the Essence of Workplace Communication,” she taught students skills such as building a positive mindset and professional listening, emphasizing that effective communication is a core workplace competence.

Subsequently, Shi Mandi, management consultant and practical training instructor, shared “The Flow Code of the Workplace.”
Drawing on cognitive psychology and the concept of lifelong learning, she guided students to use the “Positive Thinking Implantation” tool within EPCAA to cultivate resilience and perseverance in pursuit of their goals.

On the afternoon of October 19, the training reached its climax with the “Management Role-Playing and Award Ceremony.”
Department Party Branch Secretary Yue Ting, Department Head Mou Yupeng, Deputy Heads Liu Manzhi, Lv Xueqing, Liu Bei, Publicity Secretary Li Zongbo, and faculty members Xu Honghua, Cheng Xiufang, and Yu Hai Miao attended as judges and mentors.

Students selected real management issues from their surroundings as themes and integrated them with professional knowledge, presenting creative and humorous theatrical performances that explored management problems with insight and artistry.
From “communication barriers in departmental collaboration” to “balancing warmth and rigor in team management,” each performance reflected both the depth of professional understanding and the Party’s pragmatic spirit of “identifying and solving problems.”

The event concluded with an award ceremony recognizing outstanding groups and individuals, encouraging students to continue growing under the guidance of Party spirit and the EPCAA system.

This training — with Party building as the soul and EPCAA as the backbone — deeply integrated red ideological heritage into career enlightenment and skill development.
Looking ahead, the Department of Business Administration will continue exploring the integration of Party building with the EPCAA system, using the “red engine” to drive new developments in professional practice and empowering students to shine on their future career paths.
