From October 15 to 17, SEM together with JD Digital Technology, successfully held the first “Spark Program” Elite Training Camp at the JD Cloud (Xuzhou) AI Security Innovation Demonstration Center.
The training camp aimed to enhance students’ proficiency in cutting-edge digital tools and stimulate their interest in technological innovation.

On the morning of October 15, the opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Jiang Hongyan, Vice Dean of the School of Economics and Management; Xu Sheng, Chairman of JD Digital Technology; Cao Kun, Deputy Director of the Xuzhou Software Park Administrative Committee; and Li Yan, Chairperson of Xuzhou Big Data Group Enterprise Credit Technology Co., Ltd.
At the ceremony, Chairman Xu Sheng delivered a welcome speech. On behalf of the School, Vice Dean Jiang Hongyan presented a plaque conferring “Educational Internship Base” status to JD Digital Technology, marking the official launch of the training camp.

Training Courses and Practice Sessions
After the opening, Professor Bai Yunfei delivered the first lecture themed “The Core Value and Practice of AI Agents.” The session covered key topics such as machine learning classification, neural network principles, and computing power competition. In the afternoon, students engaged in hands-on practice on the Coze platform, independently designing and debugging AI agents to master the skills of intelligent agent development.

On October 16, Pan Wenqi, head of Jingjiang Technology, presented a case study on WeWander, analyzing how AI technology can address the problem of fragmented information in the traditional tourism industry. Afterwards, Professor Wang Xiaohui explained concepts related to software development, product design, and data architecture.

Closing Ceremony and Certificate Presentation
On October 17, the program focused on technology industry trends and career planning. Professor Bai Yunfei guided students in optimizing their workflow projects and analyzed AI application trends and talent demands using Huawei and other enterprises as case studies, helping participants clarify their learning paths and career directions.
At the closing ceremony, Xu Sheng, Chairman of JD Digital Technology, and Gao Jingyao, also from JD Digital Technology, attended the event. Ms. Gao delivered closing remarks and presented certificates of completion, encouraging students to become interdisciplinary talents who understand technology, master business, and drive innovation.

Summary
Through a three-stage format combining theoretical lectures, hands-on practice, and corporate visits, the training camp built a solid bridge linking academic learning and industrial application. This event represents a successful attempt at university–enterprise collaboration between the School of Economics and Management and JD Digital Technology.
In the future, the School will continue to expand cooperation on AI-related programs, deepening collaboration with leading enterprises like JD Digital Technology to cultivate new-generation business talents equipped for the intelligent digital era, and to explore innovative paths for developing interdisciplinary management professionals.
