To thoroughly implement the Party’s education policy in the new era and advance the cultivation of interdisciplinary talents, the Department of Business Administration Party Branch organized a field study and Party-building collaborative activity on the morning of October 10. Led by Party Branch Secretary Yue Ting and faculty member Zhang Jiexuan, more than 80 students visited the China University of Mining and Technology Industry–Education Integration Demonstration Base at the Huaihai Human Resources Service Industrial Park. Liu Xin, Deputy General Manager of Huaihai Human Resources Service Industrial Park, and Liu Yinxue, Director of the Operations Center, accompanied the group throughout the event.
At the start of the visit, Director Liu Yinxue introduced the park’s development journey under the guiding role of Party building in achieving high-quality operations. She gave a detailed presentation on the park’s Human Resources Big Data Analysis Platform, which embodies the concept of “serving talents and supporting employment.” Supported by five functional modules, the platform performs multidimensional data analysis to enable precise job matching, allowing faculty and students to witness firsthand how technology empowers human resource management practices. Participants also experienced the “Job Seeker Machine No. 1”, which uses facial-recognition-based AI to match candidates with suitable positions—an impressive example of AI technology enhancing enterprise management.
During the park tour, the group visited the Intelligent Manufacturing Training Base, the Administrative Service Center, and the Huaihai Gig Market. Director Liu guided students to reflect on the inner connection between technological innovation and the Party’s original mission, turning each smart-technology application scenario into a vivid classroom for understanding how Party leadership drives high-quality industrial development.
Following the tour, Li Qinfen, Deputy General Manager of Huaihai Talent Group, delivered a mobile classroom lecture titled “Big Data and Intelligent Decision-Making in Human Resource Management: Application and Practice of the ‘Huai Xiaocai’ AI Recruitment Platform.” She explained that the research and application of the Huai Xiaocai AI platform exemplify the national call to “empower the real economy through science and technology” and represent a concrete integration of human resource management with artificial intelligence.
In the ensuing discussion, faculty and students engaged in a lively exchange on the topic “How AI technology can better serve human resource management.” The dialogue deepened understanding of the concept that Party building guides technological innovation, and technology serves enterprise needs.
This joint activity exemplified the Department of Business Administration Party Branch’s implementation of the “Party Building + Practical Education” model, showcasing how the “red engine” of Party leadership drives talent development. Throughout the program, the “Party Red” spirit not only guided the field study but also illuminated the path for AI technologies to serve people’s livelihoods. By experiencing the power of frontier technologies, participants gained a deeper appreciation of Party building’s core leadership role in industrial development and talent cultivation. The event inspired faculty and students alike to stay true to their original aspirations, strengthen professional competence, and fulfill the mission of youth in the new era through practical action.
