On the afternoon of September 10, the Administrative Party Branch of SEM, in collaboration with the Office of Cooperative Development of Xuzhou First People’s Hospital, continued the themed free clinic activity “Branch Co-Building for Health, Gratitude to Teachers for Well-being” at the School’s Health Station (Room B106). The event aimed to pay tribute to the hard work of educators through professional medical services.
The activity focused on common health issues among teachers and provided two key specialty services: thyroid & breast health, and respiratory health. The team led by Zhang Hanchao from the Thyroid and Breast Department conducted on-site imaging screenings and disease consultations, offering personalized health guidance on thyroid and breast diseases, medical check-up reports, and related concerns. Meanwhile, the team led by Sang Chunli from the Respiratory Department provided targeted health education on the prevention of autumn respiratory diseases, based on real-time lung capacity test indicators.
The event received strong support and on-site guidance from the School’s leadership. It was also an important practice in the Administrative Party Branch’s series of co-building activities themed “Uphold the Original Aspiration, Shoulder the Mission, Safeguard Health, and Promote Development.” By linking the university with medical institutions and sharing resources, the event created a “health service platform at the doorstep” for faculty and staff, which was warmly welcomed by teachers and students alike. Going forward, the Branch will continue to use co-building as a bond, focusing on teachers’ health needs and providing more diversified care services. This will allow teachers to pursue their educational mission while enjoying both physical and mental well-being—their “happiness account”—and will help lay a solid health foundation for building a strong educational nation.
