On the morning of June 12, 2025, the School of Economics and Management at China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT) held a signing ceremony with the Xuzhou Taxation Association to jointly establish a student internship and practice base. The ceremony took place in Room B503 of the School.

The ceremony was hosted by Vice Dean Jiang Hongyan.
In her opening remarks, Prof. Jiang Hongyan expressed sincere gratitude to the delegation from the Xuzhou Taxation Association and introduced the general profile of the School, with a focus on the Department of Accounting’s achievements in national-level first-class undergraduate program development, faculty research, graduate employment quality, and international collaboration. She emphasized that this cooperation represents a meaningful attempt to realize the goals of resource sharing, collaborative education, and social service.
Deputy Secretary Jiang Min then introduced the structure and functional roles of the Xuzhou Taxation Association, highlighting its position as a key bridge connecting tax authorities, enterprises, and practitioners. She pointed out that the tax industry is becoming increasingly youthful, professional, and fast-evolving, with rising demand for practical and skilled talent. She expressed hopes that this collaboration would leverage university resources to strengthen tax-related practical education and that the Association, in turn, could provide real-world work environments and opportunities for students, while also welcoming the university’s support in continuing education for practitioners.

Following the speeches, CUMT and the Xuzhou Taxation Association officially signed a Co-construction Agreement for the Internship and Practice Base, and Prof. Jiang Hongyan awarded the “Internship and Practice Base” plaque to the Association.
This agreement marks the beginning of deep cooperation in talent training, practical alignment, and university-local integration. Looking ahead, both parties will continue to enhance communication and coordination, expand the depth and breadth of cooperation, and inject new momentum into regional economic development, practical teaching quality, and the high-quality growth of tax and finance professionals.
