To further implement the high-quality development requirements of graduate education in the new era, enhance the quality of graduate training, stimulate academic enthusiasm, and foster an atmosphere of innovation and research, the School of Economics and Management at China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT) successfully held the 19th Graduate Academic Forum Week from May 12 to 16, 2025. Centered on the theme “Smart Innovation and Sustainable Development”, the forum received a total of 138 paper submissions. Faculty mentors offered systematic suggestions on topics, research design, and methodological rigor. The sessions were marked by dynamic interaction and lively academic exchange, which greatly benefited the participants. The sub-forums effectively served as platforms for scholarly dialogue and intellectual growth.

Dean Ding Zhihua's Remarks
Since its launch in January 2025, the forum has upheld rigorous academic standards. All papers went through three rounds of evaluation: preliminary plagiarism checks, anonymous peer review, and sub-forum defenses. With a focus on “Smart Innovation and Sustainable Development”, and closely aligned with pressing issues in economic and social development, the forum provided a high-quality academic exchange platform for graduate students. Its successful organization helped strengthen students’ research abilities and fostered an academic culture of scholarly rigor, openness, and innovation.
