The meeting brought together leaders and faculty from the Academic Affairs Office, the School of Computer Science and Technology, and the School of Economics and Management. Attendees included Deputy Director Fu Hao, Associate Dean Yuan Guan, and Associate Dean Jiang Hongyan, along with department heads and key course instructors from both disciplines.
Presiding over the meeting, Prof. Jiang Hongyan emphasized the project’s importance in shaping a new model for education that integrates AI with business, expressing her hopes for deep cooperation and a successful rollout. Prof. Yuan Guan echoed this sentiment, noting that the program could serve as a flagship example of the university’s “AI + X” educational vision.
Prof. Xu Xinzheng introduced the 2024 AI curriculum, detailing its structure and objectives, while Prof. Mou Yupeng outlined the dual degree initiative’s development, research background, expert consultations, and current progress. Faculty members then engaged in a focused discussion on curriculum design, talent development strategies, and interdisciplinary course integration.
