On the morning of April 15, Li Huijuan, Vice Dean of the School of Digital Economy and Management at Suzhou City University, along with Yin Nan, Director of the Department of Business Administration, Cao Jinfai, Director of the Department of Finance, and faculty member Su Niannian, visited our school for an academic exchange. Jiang Hongyan, Vice Dean of the School of Economics and Management at China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT), attended the meeting along with Wang Huaqing, Director of the Department of Big Data Management and Application, Li Kaifeng, Director of the Department of Finance, and Liu Ran from the Office of Teaching Management.
The meeting was chaired by Vice Dean Jiang Hongyan, who first extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation and provided an overview of our school’s academic programs, discipline development, and international collaborations.
Vice Dean Li Huijuan then introduced the development history of Suzhou City University and the current situation of the School of Digital Economy and Management. She expressed particular interest in learning about the curriculum structure, internship base construction, and student training models of our Big Data Management and Application and Finance programs.
Professor Wang Huaqing and Professor Li Kaifeng gave detailed presentations on the talent cultivation models, course design, academic features, practical course offerings, and internship base development of their respective programs. In addition, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as talent development strategies for students from universities of different tiers and methods for highlighting program-specific characteristics.
This exchange further strengthened the cooperation between the two universities in professional development and academic construction. Both parties expressed a strong desire to deepen collaboration in areas such as talent recruitment, academic exchange, and joint development of internship bases, aiming to promote continued progress and innovation in the construction of academic programs at both institutions.
