From April 11 to 13, 2025, the 9th International Conference on Marketing Science and Innovation (MSI 2025) was successfully held at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. Jointly organized by the MSI Organizing Committee, the Chinese Marketing Association of Universities, and Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, the conference centered on the theme of "New Quality Productive Forces and Digital-Intelligent Innovation in Marketing", gathering over 800 distinguished guests from leading institutions both at home and abroad to discuss the latest trends and research in the field of marketing.
Professor Jiang Hongyan, Vice Dean of the School of Economics and Management, and Professor Mou Yupeng from the Department of Business Administration participated in the conference. The event featured 11 keynote forums and 69 parallel sub-forums, covering topics such as digital-intelligent marketing and innovation practices, consumer behavior in the digital age, national-level research project application and discussion, development of national-level first-class business administration programs, and the empowerment of market growth through artificial intelligence.
During the keynote and parallel sessions, Professors Jiang Hongyan and Mou Yupeng each delivered thematic reports and also served as guest moderators for sessions focused on individual behavior research.

At the closing ceremony, Vice Dean Jiang Hongyan, representing the next host institution, delivered a speech. She provided a detailed introduction to China University of Mining and Technology, highlighting the university’s strengths, the School of Economics and Management, and the cultural charm of Xuzhou. She also extended a heartfelt invitation to scholars from around the world to attend the 10th International Conference on Marketing Science and Innovation (MSI 2026), which will be hosted by CUMT.

This year’s conference focused on marketing innovation and industrial upgrading in the digital-intelligent era, closely aligning with key issues in China's modernization process. Discussions delved into topics such as new quality productive forces and digital-intelligent marketing, aiming to seize development opportunities and explore theoretical and practical pathways to empower high-quality growth.
With its international scope, cutting-edge focus, and interdisciplinary nature, MSI continues to promote academic exchange and cooperation and drive the development of marketing science and innovation. Having now completed nine successful sessions, the 10th MSI Conference will be held at China University of Mining and Technology, further building an international platform for scholars in business administration to engage in cross-border and cross-disciplinary dialogue on digital-intelligent marketing innovation.
