SEM Students in Action
The closing ceremony of CUMT’s 15th Sports Meet and 17th University Student Sports Culture Festival took place on October 26 at the Nanhu First Athletic Field. Through the combined efforts and determination of its athletes, SEM achieved excellent results: first prize in the broadcast gymnastics competition, second place in the overall team score of the sports meet, and fourth place in the overall score of the sports culture festival.
At 8:00 AM, the opening ceremony of the 15th Sports Meet commenced as scheduled. Leading the procession were SEM’s national flag and flower formations, marching with synchronized steps and high spirits, fully showcasing the school’s dynamic and uplifting spirit. Following them, the school’s athletes entered with unified steps, presenting a creative and captivating performance that highlighted the school’s unique charm.
During the broadcast gymnastics competition, the students’ formation stood out with their standardized and synchronized movements, emerging victorious among 21 competing teams and claiming the first prize. Subsequently, events such as foot wrestling, moon passing, and basketball skills competitions unfolded. Throughout these contests, the students demonstrated unwavering determination and exceptional teamwork, securing first place in the men’s "Ten Feet for Eleven People" race, women’s "One Heart, Many People" relay, sit-up competition, and crab race. They also achieved outstanding results in other events.
These exceptional achievements not only brought glory to SEM but also inspired all faculty and students to continue embodying the spirit of unity, collaboration, and perseverance in their studies, work, and daily lives. The school is confident that it will continue to excel and create new milestones in future activities.
