On the afternoon of June 14, the School of Economics and Management invited Professor Yang Xiaoguang, a distinguished professor at China University of Mining and Technology and a researcher at the Institute of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to deliver a lecture on "Publishing High-Level Journal Articles and the Academic Value of Management Discipline Journals" and "Academic Research Sharing and Guidance" for the young faculty members of the college. The forum was hosted by Vice Dean Jiang Hongyan and Director of the Discipline and Talent Office Chen Feiyu.
Professor Yang Xiaoguang, drawing from his years of research experience and insights, shared the academic value, key areas, and potential directions of management science research. He introduced the grading criteria for FMS journals and emphasized the key points and considerations when publishing in high-level English and Chinese journals. The lecture provided valuable guidance for the young faculty members of the school in producing high-quality academic papers.
Following the lecture, Professor Yang listened to the recent research papers and work ideas presented by four young faculty members and doctoral students from the school. He offered one-on-one feedback and guidance, addressing various challenges encountered by the faculty and students in the process of writing research papers. He provided numerous valuable suggestions to assist in the development and publication of high-level papers by the young faculty members.
