On the morning of April 23, alumni from the 1980 cohort of the Coal Enterprise Management Engineering program celebrated the 40th anniversary of their graduation. The reunion took place in the B503 meeting room of the School of Economics and Management, where former classmates reconnected and reminisced about their college years.
Dean Ding Zhihua warmly welcomed the returning alumni and expressed heartfelt gratitude for their continued connection to the school. His presentation focused on the history, academic development, research achievements, and current faculty of the School of Economics and Management, alongside the institution's vision for the future.
Dean Ding emphasized the invaluable contributions of alumni, calling them the "most treasured assets" of the school. The School is committed to fostering stronger ties with alumni to collaboratively advance its mission of building a world-class institution in business and management education.
The alumni watched a heartfelt video montage prepared for the occasion, evoking cherished memories of their youthful years at the university. The video captured glimpses of their academic journey and vibrant campus life, leaving everyone reminiscing about their shared past.
In the subsequent roundtable discussion, alumni shared insights on topics such as their educational experiences, career trajectories, and the development of the School. They expressed pride in the School’s accomplishments and gratitude for its enduring impact on their lives.
The reunion concluded with a commemorative group photo, symbolizing the lasting bond between the alumni and their alma mater.
