    Professor Su Jianjun and Delegation from the School of Management of Xi’an University of Science and Technology Visit SEM

    On the morning of December 3, 2025, Professor Su Jianjun and his delegation from the School of Management of Xi’an University of Science and Technology visited SEM for exchanges. Associate Professor Tian Zhangpeng, Director of the Department of E-Commerce and Data Science; Associate Professor Hu Xia, Deputy Director; and young faculty members Cai Xudong and Mao Jinqi held discussions with the visiting faculty members—Su Jianjun, Luo Bowen, Zhang Zhe, and Yan Aqian—on topics including talent training programs and curriculum design, industry–education integration, digital intelligence empowerment, and characteristics of talent cultivation.

    Director Tian Zhangpeng extended a sincere welcome to Professor Su Jianjun and his delegation, and provided a detailed introduction to the E-Commerce program’s faculty structure, curriculum arrangement of the talent cultivation program, student recruitment, and employment outcomes. In the subsequent discussion, both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on issues such as talent training programs and curriculum design, industry–education integration, digital intelligence empowerment, and characteristics of talent cultivation. They also shared exemplary practices in cultivating e-commerce talent based on the distinctive characteristics of their respective institutions. Both sides agreed that future cooperation and communication should be further strengthened to jointly explore ways to enhance the development of e-commerce programs and improve the quality of talent cultivation in industry-oriented universities under new circumstances.

     

    This visit deepened the exchange and cooperation between the Department of E-Commerce and Data Science and the Department of E-Commerce of the School of Management of Xi’an University of Science and Technology, providing important insights and references for the School of Economics and Management to explore further enhancement of e-commerce program development and talent cultivation quality in industry-oriented universities.
