Comments from External Experts
The development of the dual-degree program began in March 2024, with multiple internal discussions within the school. In May, Vice Dean Jiang Hongyan led a team to Nanjing University, Southeast University, and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics for exchanges and evaluations. In November, the team conducted a second round of evaluations at Sichuan University, the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and Zhejiang Gongshang University. This meeting further clarified the school’s direction in cultivating interdisciplinary talents and highlighted its new approach to talent development in the digital intelligence era. Moving forward, the school will strategically integrate its resources to advance the dual-degree program and foster innovative reforms in talent cultivation models to meet the demands of the artificial intelligence era.
