On November 30, the university-level finals of the Second National College Student Career Planning Competition concluded in the Library Lecture Hall at China University of Mining and Technology. Zhang Ziwei, a 2021 Marketing major from the School of Economics and Management, won the Special Prize in the undergraduate employment track. Meanwhile, Zhao Jie, a 2021 class counselor, was honored with the "Outstanding Instructor" award.
In the finals, Zhang Ziwei presented on the theme "E-commerce Procurement Star: Illuminating a Brilliant Future," showcasing her career goals, person-job fit, decision-making, and future growth plan. With a vivid speech and clear logic, she demonstrated her determination and potential to excel in the e-commerce procurement field. When faced with questions from the judges, she remained composed and articulate, earning unanimous approval from the panel.
For years, the School of Economics and Management has placed great emphasis on career planning for university students, ensuring that knowledge of career development is widespread among students while nurturing their sense of responsibility and patriotism. This competition highlighted the outstanding career planning abilities of our students. The school will take this event as an opportunity to further integrate career education into its teaching, creating an environment that encourages self-awareness, career exploration, academic achievement, and job readiness.
