Speaker Introduction
Professor Qian Lixian currently serves as a professor and doctoral supervisor at the International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). He is the Associate Dean (Research) of IBSS and Deputy Director of the Research Committee at XJTLU. He led the establishment of the Smart Mobility Analytics Research Center at XJTLU.
His research interests include innovation adoption and diffusion, smart mobility behavior, data-driven marketing strategies, and energy and environmental sustainability. He has published over 30 papers in international academic journals and books. He has led three general projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one philosophy and social science research project funded by Jiangsu Province.
Professor Qian is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy, a standing council member of the Chinese Marketing Association of Universities, and Section Editor of the international journal Sustainable Futures (JCR Q2, CAS Q2).
He has received numerous awards, including:
XJTLU Annual Best Teacher Award (2017)
IBSS Distinguished Research Award (2019)
Outstanding Advisor for the 6th National College Student Energy Economics Innovation Competition (2020)
Best Paper Proceedings at the 2024 Academy of Management Annual Meeting
Excellent Paper Award at the 2024 China Management Science Annual Conference
Additionally, he was selected for Jiangsu’s “333 High-Level Talent Training Project” in 2022.
