Huang Shao’an is a doctoral advisor in economics, a renowned economist, and a specially-appointed professor under the Ministry of Education's Changjiang Scholars Program. He currently serves as a distinguished professor at Shandong University, Dean of the Institute of Economics (Center), and Executive Deputy Dean of the Institute of Development Research at Shandong University. Additionally, he is a member of the Disciplinary Review Group for the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, an evaluation expert for the National Social Science Fund, and a member of the Natural Science Fund Evaluation Group.
Huang Shao’an is a leading figure in the study of institutional and structural economics and an authoritative scholar in fields such as enterprise theories, institutional economics, monetary systems, and market dynamics. He has established influential academic platforms like the "China Institutional Economics Forum" and the "Chinese Journal of Institutional Economics". At Shandong University, he has built a renowned team of theoretical economists with extensive national influence.
His primary research focuses on institutional innovation and enterprise theories, exploring macroeconomic growth and policy implications through the lens of systemic analysis. Huang has published numerous impactful works, including "Economic Institutional Analysis," as well as more than 20 monographs and 200 papers in high-impact journals.
