Expert Introduction
Ling Wen is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a specially-appointed professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and chairman of the Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Association. He has served as a member of the Party Committee, deputy general manager, general manager of Shenhua Group Corporation Limited, and general manager of the National Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. He has also held roles such as director, deputy secretary of the Party Group, and deputy governor of the Shandong Provincial People’s Government.
His primary research focus is on large-scale energy systems engineering and its theory. He has long engaged in systematic engineering theory and its application in large-scale coal-based energy projects. He has led the design and construction of key ecological restoration technologies for coal mines and surrounding areas, the development of key technologies for 600 MW ultra-supercritical circulating fluidized bed power generation, and the establishment of a demonstration project for the reuse of 60 million tons of circulating coal washing wastewater. Additionally, he has overseen the construction and safe operation of the world's largest 400 million-ton coal mining system. His innovative work spans the fields of electricity, oil and gas, transportation (railways and ports), and coal-based energy industrial systems, focusing on optimizing production and operational systems.
He continues to lead advancements in coal development and associated technical innovations based on advanced technology platforms.
