On March 14, a delegation led by Nie Rui, President of the MBA Alumni Association; Wang Lianghong, Director of the School’s Alumni Office; Associate Professor Zhang Weihua from the Department of E-Commerce; Chen Yong, Secretary General of the MBA Alumni Association; Wan Lei, an alumnus from the Class of 1983 in Business Administration; and Qiao Yidan from the Alumni Office, visited an alumni-run enterprise in Huaibei for research and exchange. The group conducted an on-site visit to Anhui Mining Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd.

Accompanied by the company's executives and relevant personnel, the delegation toured the production workshops, R&D center, and product exhibition areas. Through detailed explanations and on-site observations, the group gained an in-depth understanding of the company’s production processes, technological innovations, and product strengths.

On-site visit
During a subsequent discussion session, Cao Huaye, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the company—as well as an EMBA Class of 2004 alumnus of the School—extended a warm welcome to the visiting faculty and alumni. He provided a comprehensive overview of the company from six aspects: company profile, industry landscape, development strategy, market positioning, current challenges, and countermeasures.
On behalf of the School, Director Wang Lianghong expressed heartfelt thanks for the warm reception. He introduced the School of Economics and Management’s history, faculty team, current student body, discipline development, and recent achievements in teaching and research. President Nie Rui highly praised the achievements of Anhui Mining Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. and offered constructive suggestions on some of the development challenges raised by alumnus Cao Huaye.
The discussion session saw lively participation, with attendees actively sharing insights and engaging in deep discussions on topics such as industry trends, enterprise management, and innovation-driven collaboration.
This alumni enterprise visit concluded successfully. Moving forward, the School's Alumni Office will continue to build platforms for alumni exchange and cooperation, organize diverse activities to support alumni growth, and further strengthen the mutual development between alumni and their alma mater.
