Speaker Introduction
Wei Xuhua holds a Ph.D. in Management and is a Professor and Doctoral Advisor at the School of Management, Lanzhou University. He serves as the Director of the Institute for Intelligent Human Resource Management and is recognized as a Leading Talent of Gansu Province, receiving subsidies for high-level professional and technical talents in the province. He has also been a visiting scholar at the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
His primary research areas are organizational behavior and human resource management. Currently, he is a council member of the China Human Resource Development Research Association and serves on the editorial boards of journals such as China Human Resource Development, Human Resource Management Review, and Science, Economy, and Society. He has also served as a guest editor for a special issue of the Asia Pacific Journal of Management (APJM).
Professor Wei has presided over three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as numerous projects supported by the Ministry of Education’s Humanities and Social Science Foundation, the Natural Science Foundation of Gansu Province, and the Gansu Province Philosophy and Social Science Planning Project, totaling more than ten research projects. He has received three provincial and ministerial-level scientific research awards, three awards from national-level academic associations, and two honors for National Top 100 Excellent Management Cases.
He has published books such as Meta-Analysis Methods in Organizational and Management Research and Team Building and Management. Additionally, he has published over 60 papers in prominent domestic and international academic journals, including Behavior Research Methods, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Nankai Business Review, Management Science Journal, Journal of Business and Psychology, Science Journal of China, and Acta Psychologica Sinica.
