Building Psychologically Healthy Talent Teams through Psychological Contracts
Lecture Introduction
This lecture addresses workplace stress and "involution" (excessive competition) from a psychological perspective, guided by the concepts outlined in the 20th National Congress Report of the Communist Party of China. It analyzes workplace stress overload and associated mental health issues. From the perspective of psychological contracts, it proposes systematic models and logical frameworks for fostering psychologically healthy workplace environments.
Expert Introduction
Jianmin Sun is a second-level professor at Renmin University of China, director of the Center for Organizational Behavior Research, and an expert in "organizational behavior" listed in the Chinese Ministry of Education’s Talent Program.
He currently serves as the Chair of the 12th Academic Board of the Chinese Psychological Society (2023-2027) and Vice President of the Society’s Division of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (2023-2026).
Prof. Sun is also a member of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP) and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) in the United States.
He has received numerous teaching awards, including First Prize in the Beijing Municipal Teaching Achievement Awards and First Prize in Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Supervisors in Beijing.
In addition to consulting for major Chinese and international corporations, he has won the prestigious HRD China Dave Ulrich Award. He also serves as a high-level management consultant for leading enterprises, including participating in the localization of the renowned “Huawei Basics Law.”
